Title: Green Flag Program

Abstract: The Green Flag Program is a project of the Child Proofing our Communities Campaign coordinated by the Center for Health, Environment and Justice. They offer a start up kit to help school communities learn about the program and its materials describe how to form a team to work on environmental issues affecting schools. Included are helpful hints for coordinators, educational benefits, posters, children's environmental health flyers, fact sheets, success stories (from Virginia), sample letters to parents and a 30-question school environment survey.
Parents need to expore the environmental leadership suggestions and levels that will help them assist schools with improving school health.
