Abstract: This lesson is designed for grades 4-5. Students will recognize the impace of humans on natural systems; make predictions about the impace of certain behaviors and how personal or cultural perspectives affect these behaviors; assess factors that affect consumer purchases; recognize that responsible consumer choices can result in reduced wste and environmental impact. This lesson uses the Dr. Seuss book, The Lorax.
