Abstract: Phillips Swager Associates and the Wilson Intermediate School considered the school's team-oriented approach to education when making site plans and designs for the schools. Energy efficiency principles that evolved form the process include control of glare without sacrificing natural light byusing a variety of integrated shading devices.
