AbstractThis book of lessons is a compilation of the "best of Green Teacher" contributions from teachers who are working with middle school students and who are helping students learn about environmental issues and concerns. The book is divided into five units, with a glossary, index, and curriculum index at the end. The units (themes) are learning about ecosystems, sustaining ecosystems, living sustainably, examining values, and making interdisciplinary connections. The individual lesson formats include subject areas, key concepts, skills, location, time and materials.
